The Aku Aku was a Polynesian restaurant/ tiki bar inside the Stardust casino, at the north end of the Las Vegas strip. The restaurant opened in 1960, and closed in 1980. and really almost nothing cool has happened on that end of the Strip since. Out in front of the entrance to the building were two giant Moai Tiki statues, one of which remains in Sunset Park in Las Vegas today
This image is from the dinner menu which we scanned in the modified and cleaned up to give the colors more clarity and to remove the wor spots on the cover. We also did a slight redesign of some of the text to make it a little more readable.
Printed in-house on our own digital presses.
